Hi Kelly, Stephanie,
Because I have not received a pay check for any or all days that I worked so far. I think its time I departed from Metro One and have my final paycheck mailed to my home address.
Its on file but here it is:
12135 SW Par 4 Dr, #11
King City, OR 97224
Hours Not Paid:
Dec 30, 2023 - raw: 8.57, calc: 8.50
Jan 6, 2024 - raw: 8.78, calc: 8.75
Jan 7, 2024 - raw: 8.85, calc: 8.75
Jan 13, 2024 - raw: 8.37, calc: 8.50
Jan 14, 2024 - raw: 8.33, calc: 8.25
Total: raw: 42.90, calc: 42.75
You all understand that a person cannot work for a company that is not paying them on time. I have bills to pay and they are late because of you.
Please let me know about when I should expect my final paycheck to arrive at my place. I need the money!
Thanks,
Mark Errington

HI Mark,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I will look into your concerns and connect directly with you.
As far as your hours for 12/30, I do see they were entered into Kronos for payment, Ill need to confirm if it is a physical check and if so, that should be in the office for you.
Thank you,

Is this the right place to send these attachments too?
You should have these on file as of Dec 12, 2023.

I ask because I have not received any direct deposits since I started working on Dec 30, 2023.
Hi Kelly, Stephanie,
As of Jan 15, 2024, I have not been paid for: Sat, Dec 30, 2023. 8.50 hrs. Also, it has not been entered into the system with deductions made.
As of Jan 15, 2024, my first pay check that should of been my second pay check, #93037, was suppose to be a direct deposit to my bank account. I looked and as of Jan 15, 7:35pm, its still not there. I don't know if its going to be mailed to me or if its going to be a direct deposit.
As you can see in this email below, I have contacted my site Manager, Mikayla Perry, and my Account Manager, Dennis Hager about this. As of now, Monday, Jan 15, 2024, 9:25 pm, none of these Managers have updated me about my missing work day: Sat, Dec 30, 2023. 8.50 hrs. This could be out of their hands so I am taking it upon myself again to climb the ladder to find answers.
I first emailed Mikayla (email below) and she said my check was in the office (job site: Rite Aid Distribution Center, Wilsonville. OR) I asked, Where? No reply from Mikayla. On Saturday, I went to work, I looked in the office and asked the other security guards there. They said that they have not seen a check. It looks like I was lied to by my on-site Manager, Mikayla Perry. That trust is gone. She lied to me before but that was a small lie. The less I talk to Mikayla the better.
Before my first work day:
- Mikayla did not tell me how to clock in or out. I had to guess how to do this on my own.
- Mikayla did not train me for my first day or any day since. I was trained onsite by the nice guys from Fortified Security. One day by Cameron, and the next work day by Gary.
- Mikayla did not give me a uniform. So I asked Dennis about my uniform and he told me, before my second work day that they are in the back of the office in boxes. Gary and I looked through the boxes with shirts in them and I found a shirt that fit me and I did find a jacket that fit me. No pants in my size. I do find this interesting that I had to enter my jacket size, shirt size and pants size on my Metro One account because it says I needed to do so, but I found NONE of these sizes at my job site. So disorganized. My whole uniform should of been in a big plastic bag with my last name on it with the Metro One logo. ALL of these boxes full of shirts was just discussing to go through. You don't know where they have been and they smell a little. Maybe some have mold in them. Most of the jackets and shirts were a size small. ALL these uniforms should be removed and send back to where they came from and have them cleaned and folded. Next time, and only as needed, have the person who sends out uniforms puts each completed uniform, for each security guard, in a big plastic bag with their last name on it. Have it sealed up some how or tied it up and then mail it out to the job site! Please get disorganized! Make a good impression on your clients! They see that mess every time a Rite Aid employee enters the security office or looks through the opened glass windows.
On my first work day, I heard many good things about a Metro One, Security Guard, named Kayla (I think I spelled her name right) and some bad things about Mikayla. I was told Kayla trained, Mikayla. Kayla wanted to be site Manager but for some reason someone thought Mikayla was a better pick. They were so wrong. Kayla worked for Metro One longer than Mikayla. From what I heard Kayla is easy to talk too. Before Mikayla worked for Metro One she was just a cook in New York for many years. I bring this up because from the first day I met Mikayla until now. I don't think Mikayla is management material base on my experiences with managers over the years. On my first job interview with Mikayla. She raised her voice loudly at me before she even talked to me and told me to "TAKE OUT EVERYTHING FROM YOUR POCKETS!" while sitting in her chair inside the office. I think she was to lazy to stand up and just say in a calm voice, "You need to take everything out of your pockets". At that time, I was standing in front of the stand up metal detector going to empty my pockets when I heard this loud mean voice coming from the office. At the time, there was a Metro One Security Guard standing right there. By her actions, she set the tone and the mood for the interview. This was a red flag for me meaning that this person may have some problems and this person may not be a person that you can talk too. And as of now, I was right. For me, Mikayla is not a person you can have a conversation with because she doesn't understand a lot of what's said to her. Again check out the email below for a small example. This is one of many reasons why I think you should demote, Mikayla as site Manager, back to Security Guard and promote Kayla to site Manager until the plant closes in a few months. This way they both win. Mikayla has the site manager experience she needs to move forward after the plant closes and Kayla will get the experience as site Manager, like she always wanted, so she can use it after the plant closes to better herself. Don't you think this would be fair for both of these women? Let's make this happen! I think Kayla's first day for the site Manager position should be Feb 1, 2024, and give her the good news, today!
Could you please get me paid for the day I worked and find out about my other check #93037 that I have not received. Please let me know if it will be mailed to me or if it was suppose to be a direct deposit.

Hi Dennis,
So far I have not heard back from Mikayla on where my check is at in the office.
I hope she is being honest about having my check there.
This is the first time I brought this up with Mikayla and I find it interesting that my check is in the office and she is just now telling me about it after I just brought this up.
I do worry about this and will lose sleep over it. I hope to see my check for "Sat, Dec 30, 2023. 8.50 hrs" when I work tomorrow, Saturday morning.
Attached is a screen capture of that week I worked.
Thanks,

Hi Mikayla,
My pay period, 2 weeks ago, was from 12/24/2023 to 12/30/2023, right?
Sat, Dec 30, 2023. 8.50 hrs.
I should of gotten a pay check on Jan 5, 2024 for these hours, right, but I did not.

Hi Mikayla,
It looks like I did not get paid for Sat, Dec 30, 2023. 8.50 hrs.
I only got paid for Sat, Jan 6 2024. 8.75 hrs.
I was wondering why it was taking so long to get my first pay check.
Can you fix this?
Thanks,

Hi Brandon,
Certainly!
I'm the guy who did not get paid for the short time I worked for Metro One. My Employee ID: 197095. So I quit ONLY because I was not getting paid for my time. If I got paid for my time, per week, we would not be here.
Does the below information help refresh your memory? Your payroll system is not working correctly. I ended up getting manually paid twice for the same day I worked and did not get paid for the last day I worked. So how did that happen?
Hope this helps.
------------------------------------------------------
Hi Stephanie,
Someone just now set up direct deposit for me when my last day was today, 1/17/2024. A little slow don't you think? So now, I don't know if my check(s) is going to be deposited this Friday or next week. Or if I'm going to get it mailed to me as I requested or if its going to be mailed to my job site. Yes, I'm confused and worried because it has taken this long to get my first and only pay check. Not getting paid on time was the main reason why I departed from Metro One and Mikayla. The first day of work on my job site I was told that this place is closing in about 5 months, not by Mikayla. I still would of stayed until the end if I was paid on time and put up with Mikayla.
Please consider my request to demote Mikayla Perry as site Manager. Here is another reason; its her fault that she did not tell me that my check was sitting in the office for a few days until I asked her for it and she never told me where it was until you called her and then she called me a few days after the fact. As a site Manager, she is suppose to make sure we all get our checks. Mikayla Perry just doesn't care!!

Hi HR,
Most likely the main reason why someone would clock-in a few minutes after their schedule time is because the clock-in system on their account from their phone will not let them clock-in earlier then two minutes before their schedule time. Why two minutes?
Many times I have reported to work ten minutes early but was not able to clock-in until two minutes before the time I was scheduled to be there.
It may take a few minutes for some people to log into their account from their phone and then clock-in. This could be why some employees clock-in late.
You need to change the early clock-in time to ten (10) minutes NOT two (2) minutes. An employee can clock-out anytime after their swift is over.
Please change the clock-in early time and you should see an improvement of employees clocking in early or clocking in on time.
After you change the new early clock-in time please let everyone know. I'm sure they will like that.
Thanks,
Mark Errington

Subject: Important Read: Metro One Attendance Points Policy
Hello Metro One Team,
Thank you for the support you provide to our clients and the teamwork and collaboration you demonstrate with one another. In our continuing effort to provide outstanding service to our clients and to improve on-time arrivals, we are following up with our entire team about our time and attendance policy. The purpose of this policy is to improve on-time arrivals and establish a standard of excellence in our industry.
At Metro One we expect our officers to be on time for every scheduled shift. We commit to getting your schedules posted well in advance of your shifts so that you can plan your days accordingly. We value our relationship with our clients and consider on time reporting to be one of many factors that differentiates us in the industry.
In September 2023, we began tracking on time reporting and administered a point process. To ensure understanding, we announced that any associate who punches in late will be assigned a single point to their UKG profile. A late arrival is defined as any time your in-punch is two or more minutes later than your scheduled start time. For each in-punch that is later than two minutes you will receive one point. If you accrue multiple points, disciplinary action will take place. The later your punch, the greater the potential for disruption of work. As a result, the disciplinary actions are more severe for later arrivals.
For each late punch under 5 minutes, you will receive one point. If you accrue 6 total points, you will receive a written warning from your immediate supervisor. At 8 points, you will receive a final written warning. If you acquire a total of 10 points, your employment will be reviewed for termination for failure to correct your on-time records.
If your late punches average greater than 5 minutes, you will still receive only one point per late punch, but in this case, you will receive a written warning after accumulating 3 points, a final written warning at 4 points, and termination of employment will occur at 5 points. Again, this is to reflect the fact that the later you are, the greater the potential disruption to the business.
To reward on-time arrival, all points will be eliminated if you arrive on time and have no late punches for 90 days in a row.
In some extreme circumstances, a late arrival may be excused, and the assigned point may be removed. Excusable lateness includes situations beyond your control, such as extreme weather conditions or family emergencies. Routine delays and personal issues are not considered excusable.
Given that this was a new program and it might have taken some time for you to get used to the points process, we continued to monitor time records over the last quarter. Effective January 1, 2024 this policy is now fully implemented and any future points will culminate into formal disciplinary action as outlined in the program. Your manager or a member of the workforce team will reach out to you if this is necessary beginning next week.
You can view your point totals on the "Main" page of your UKG profile. Any time you are assigned a point, you will receive a notice via the mobile app, informing you of the assigned points and the date of the late arrival. Your manager or the work force group will let you know any time you get a point as well so you will never be caught off guard and not be aware of how many points you have.
Again, the purpose of this policy is to improve on-time arrivals and continue to provide outstanding service to our clients. Please click on the link below to watch a brief video that describes this new policy and reach out to your immediate supervisor with any questions you may have.

We appreciate all of you and look forward to seeing enhanced client interactions given fully compliant and on time scheduled shifts.
Please reach out to your manager with any questions.
